Banff Wedding Venues

If you have the money, there is likely nothing more spectacular than having your reception at the Banff Springs Hotel or the Chateau Lake Louise. Both of these hotels can accommodate small to large weddings with little difficulty, given their multitude of conference areas, restaurants, and other special events rooms. The Banff Springs Hotel even has a separate "Waldhaus" restaurant that can accommodate up to 100 guests (German themed separate building immediately to the west of the hotel/towards the golf course). Booking weddings at these hotels can mean paying a room fee in addition to a per guest charge for the wedding. Be sure to ask in advance.

There are a number of other venues that offer excellent scenery, service, and memories. Some of these are:

Canmore Nordic Centre. The Nordic Centre has one reception room that can accommodate up to 200 or so guests. The Centre contracts the catering with a separate company and prices are per item for rental of plates, serving staff, and per cup of coffee (rather than a per head cost). If you are someone that just wants a price for the wedding, the Nordic Centre might drive you crazy, but it is a lovely location and parking is abundant.
