Wedding License

In order to get married in Banff or anywhere else in Alberta you will need an Alberta marriage license. A marriage license must be purchased from an Alberta registry agent and is valid for three months from the date of issue. Both you and your spouse will need to provide certain documentation, like copies of birth certificates, divorce papers of previously married, etc...basically everything to show that you both are legally able to get hitched.
